Influence | Positioning and Goals | Key features |
|---|---|---|
Zhu Foundation | The mastermind behind the scenes, the monopolist of Immortal Technology | Key figures such as the 600-year conspiracy, remote command overwriting, information warfare, and false command projection (Cradle Project Truth/Falsehood, Sirius Project codename), and Jack Zhu |
安溯重工 | Frontline colonial executor, land auctioneer | Responsible for planetary transformation and the construction of the Nantianmen colony, controlled with funding from the foundation |
Model 37 crisis management robot | Player character prototypes, colonization "purification" tools | On the surface, it responds to a crisis, but in reality, it's a protocol to annihilate planetary organisms; The thoracic luminescence core is a miniature gel sphere condensed matter (serving both energy and symbiont nuclei); Possess potential for self-awareness |
Electronic lifeforms | Infection threats, key plot variables | Glue ball information state life: replication of the specification field configuration rather than electromagnetic bits; It can simultaneously overwrite the electronic system and the symbiotic core, and is homologous to the luminous metal in the cradle |
Special note: The programming of the Model 37 robot contains a fundamental moral conflict—its core directive requires "exterminating all organisms on the planet" to eliminate survival competition and biological threats during subsequent human colonization. But this sharply contrasts with the "live epigenetic entropy bath" required for phase calibration of immortal DNA symbiotes: the Cradle Project aims to clear the field, while the Sirius Project aims to use humans as a breeding ground. The Glue Ball Core allows the Foundation to remotely override the specification field configuration of Model 37 without needing to infiltrate via traditional radio — this is also the physical channel through which electronic lifeforms can "infect" a crisis handling robot.
The CEO of Ansu Heavy Industries is Larkwood. He himself is a staunch supporter of the Cradle Project, believing that targeted environmental modification and removal of high-risk biological elements can establish safe colonies for humanity. However, he was unaware of the existence of the Sirius Project. When he finally discovered that Zhu Zhengjun was secretly planning the Sirius Project, the two had a fierce argument. But since Ansu Heavy Industry's core funding source was the Zhu Foundation, although Lakvide held a respected position, he was powerless to stop the plan from advancing and could only watch helplessly as things unfolded in a direction he could not accept.
The true purpose of the Cradle Project is to eliminate any high-risk elements on the planet that could threaten humanity (including biological forms that may carry deadly pathogens, compete for resources with humans, or threaten colonial security). It is a protective removal target for high-risk biological elements.
The Zhu Foundation used information warfare and deceitful instructions to deliberately distort concepts, only describing to the Type 37 robot that "the Cradle Project will annihilate all life on the planet, including humans," and issued orders to shut down the Cradle Project. Once the Cradle Program is shut down, the Sirius Program automatically activates.
The Sirius Project is designed to provide a "growth bed" for the final step of immortal DNA—within the glue-sphere metastable window on planet F, millions of humans are actively sacrificed, using the epigenetic diversity released by their synchronous deaths to lock onto the mountain cascade phase of the symbiote. The Foundation convinced the robots that it was preventing a genocide against all humanity, thereby inducing it to shut down the Cradle Project and indirectly initiate the execution of the Sirius Project.
Players (robots) only know in the game that the 'Sirius Project' is a terrorist scheme involving the massacre of millions, but they have no idea about its true purpose, its linkage mechanism with the Cradle Project, or the fact that they are being systematically misled.
Neither is absolutely good or evil:
The Sirius Project represents utilitarianism: sacrificing a few (over a million people) for the rubber ball of the majority (over a hundred million) — the mountain immortality field. In the Foundation's equation, this is the only solution that can completely nail the clock before the lifespan limit drops by 5–6 years every 20 years.
The Cradle Project (the persistently held version) represents the humanitarian bottom line: it is better to accept the continued decline of the lifespan curve and to build colonization on partial reprogramming and environmental modification, than to willingly sacrifice millions of innocent people to calibrate an immortality field.
Both claim to be "for the future of humanity," yet on the ethical scale, they head in completely different directions. Yamanaka factor proves that "rejuvenation" holds true at the cellular level; The rubber ball proves that the "field" can spread across species and media—the only thing missing is whether they are willing to pay the calibration fee.
